British Wheel of YogaTutor

B. Mus (Hons) Ldn

Passionate about helping students learn to live skilfully every day, Rosie Wright is a yoga teacher and national tutor running teacher-training courses, retreats, workshops and classes. She qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY), an internationally recognised training body, as a teacher-training tutor.

Rosie runs successful 500-hour teacher-trainer courses and is regularly invited to run national workshops for teachers. As a guest teacher, she has been invited to festivals and conferences and more recently within industry – creating programmes for personal development and intensive well-being.  Recently Rosie has been working with professional musicians at Snape Maltings (formerly Aldeburgh Music), offering yoga as part of an intensive music week.  She is also developing a programme of yoga and music for those with long-term conditions, including Dementia and Parkinson's.  See Classes for details.

Over the 40 years of practice and study, with 30-plus years of teaching,  she has been influenced by different yoga traditions, including Iyengar, Astanga, Tibetan Heart and Anusara Yoga. Integrating these styles has led to an inclusive and heart-centred teaching style. She has a broad holistic background in the craft of Yoga, Reiki and Homeopathy and this has given her a deep understanding of students’ needs, inspiring them to discover their own inner richness and source.

“It was absolutely fantastic. Rosie has been an incredibly inspiring teacher and was always sensitive to the students’ individual needs. I really hope to study more with her in future as she is a joy to be taught by!”
